I think this part is pretty smart...

At the end, I find this a bit weak to be a good exit....a bit generic

Try this maybe:

Shattered glass turns to dust  
My past is gone
I am happy

This may work better(or something along those lines)
Shattered glass turns to dust gives a more visual taste of what you say
My past is gone gives explaination to the glass and serves as a strong definative statement and gives a bit of finality
I am happy Very simple. Sometimes less is more. Again this is a very definative statement which only helps to close the song.

The 3 Thanks to you's would be cool faded in the background at the end, something heartfelt and simple.

Again, very nice song, I love the concept. Hope to hear it soon.
