All I Wanted
The latest from me... this is a work in progress, in that Wisdom has written some (but not yet all) of the music, and I've written the lyrics and vocal melody.

Lyrics go like this:

All I Wanted

I say...
With you
Is where I wanted to be
With you
My eyes are open
With you
I really like what I see
It’s you
Here – standing with me.

And I feel that’s all I wanted,
Yes I feel that’s all I ever wanted.

Spent so many years just floating away
Drift from there to here
The rising tide carried me along every day
No regret, no worry, no fear

But...
With you
It’s where I now want to be
With you
My eyes are open
With you,
You know I like what I see
Cos it’s you
Standing right next to me

And I feel that’s all I wanted
Yes I feel that’s all I ever wanted.

Somehow the wandering life grew thin
Somehow I didn’t want to do it all again
Somehow just floating along seemed empty
Somehow it wasn’t what I wanted.

A loner lonely running into you
I caught your eye, liked your smile
And then we talked and that was good too
Thought I’d stay just for a while

With you
I’m just where I want to be
With you
My eyes are open
With you
I really like what I see
You, you’re the one for me

With you
I’m just where I want to be
With you
My eyes are wide, wide open
With you
I don’t just like, I love what I see
It’s me for you, and you for me

And I feel that’s all I ever wanted
And I feel that’s all I ever wanted.

yeah man, you turn that into a slow melodic song, you'll have all the honeys flocking to you.

Lol... this has definitely not been written as a slow melodic song (well, melodic perhaps but definitely not slow!).  Wisdom's music is at 160 bpm and is very like a reggae track.

So no honeys flocking to me with this one then!

It was actually written for my wife.. but that's not very Rock 'n' Roll is it

Sorry, you do not have access to post...
