So glad your gone!
A more recent piece (beginning of last year) :

I'm so glad you're gone
I'm so glad you're gone
Now I'm back to being, one

So glad your gone
So glad your gone
Now I sing again, my own song

So glad your gone
So glad your gone

I hope that he will be
All you want him to be
I hope that you can change him
The way you wanted to change me

As sure, as the day is long
God I'm glad, that you are gone
As sure, as the night moves on
I'm so happy now that you are gone

It takes time
This I know
To get back to mine
And start to grow
But I'm so much stronger
Being me again
I'm so pleased
You no longer drain my brain!

I no longer have to give you space
I no longer have to see you face
I no longer have to say I understand
I no longer have to hold your hand

You can rant and rave
about the faults he's made
Lay your demands
And determine his grave

I'm so glad your gone
I'm so glad your gone
Now I can be me
Everything I wanted to be, all along!

Feel good personal growth song. Not bad, sounds like a pop happy acoustic radio hit.

I like it, nice and simple, didn't blow me away though.
Maybe this feel good thing is your intention, but I think the lyrics don't probe too deep, I feel like the story you're telling is a little inconsistent.

I'd like to see this with a bit of polish on it!
I like the theme.

A bit of Polish??
What kind of Polish?

O! Thank you. No3

Lyrics for 'Pop', 'feel good' songs don't have to be deep, on the contrary they should be as shallow as possible, but with hidden depth!!
