Killers parody
Nobody Told Me
Smacking my head, I forgot my name
Seventeen rounds and I can't say my name
I'm smacking my head, I forgot my name
But heaven won't close till the party's gone
Anything drunk but don't word speak u pissed
Cause heaven won't close till the party's gone
I said heaven won't close till the party's gone
Tell me my name, tell me my name tonight
Never thought I'd let my pants fall by moonlight
Well nobody told me
You were my boyfriend
I think you're the girlfriend
That I had in January of last year
It's not controversial
I'm homosexual
Ready? Let's roll with the party crew
Drinking with trolls and I'm getting drunk with you
Cause heaven won't close till the party's gone
I said heaven won't close till the party's gone
Tell me my name, tell me my name tonight
Never thought I'd let my pants fall by moonlight
Well nobody told me
You were my boyfriend
I think you're the girlfriend
That I had in January of last year
It's not conrtoversial
I'm homosexual
A rushin', a rushin' around
Pace your drinks for me
I said four plus four is three
But I just can't see now
When I just wanna know my name
[x3]
Nobody told me
You were my boyfriend
I think you're the girlfriend
That I had in January of last year
It's not controversial
I'm homosexual
A rushin', a rushin' around
Just a bit of fun.
Cheers

Your definitely experimenting with extremities!
"Never thought I'd let my pants fall by moonlight" ??? lol
Your delving into strange deep places for you inspiration! Between this and the 'violence' of some of your other stuff I'm starting to wonder what your into WB!!, because your MIDI creations paint another picture or are very different colours in any case!

LOL! Funny stuff, man. You should turn people onto the original so they can fully appreciate it.

Lol, kings, maybe I should explain my reasoning for this...
I did this for no reason at all other than entertainment, I felt like trying my hand at a joke song, and, as I happened to sing this song on singstar a few days ago, along with purchasing the album it was on. How could I not? So, I'm kind of in a Killers mood at the moment. Their style is something I really enjoy, yet I have difficulty trying to capture that upbeat, feel good style. So, I think I might be onto something, I'm trying a really obvious attempt at a feel good song "Good Day to Be Alive", I have a chorus, I'll just work the verses, and maybe I can take something from this and lighten up a bit.
Umm, what I'm into... well what I try to do is experience a broad section of modern music, and take from everything a little something of what makes up my "ideal" song. I'm a fan of the music of Blink-182. Also, extensive list of The Living End, Sum 41, Muse, Metallica, The Killers, Plus 44, 3 Doors Down, Alkaline Trio, Augie March, Fourth Floor Collapse, Disturbed, Eskimo Joe, Incubus, Powderfinger, Rise Against, System of A Down, Wolfmother, Years Around the Sun. Then there's H.P Lovecraft's horror stories (I blame him for most of my dark lyrics). But in everyday life, I'm not really the dark and sinister character my lyrics portray, I think this parody is more accurate (in the comedic style, that is). And as for my MIDI stuff... I think that has dampened down from my original intent, although the original isn't too hard hitting in itself, but it has more of an acoustic drive.
So, there you go kings, a little bit of a bio on my influences.
Cheers, kings, MAP.

The killers are a great modern band and I admire them.
I basically twisted words here, so, maybe I could make my parody writing skills grow. Who knows when my next silly mood will kick in. But when it does, I may take a dose of weird al and poke fun at star wars or something completely out of context. That, in my mind, is what makes up the best parodies.

I really like the parodies idea, I do a bit parody singing myself some times, just for fun!
And if you hold it up to the right light you can see it in a totally different way!
