Lonely
i saw you there
standing by the out door pool
i couldnt help but stop and stare
in the sun you looked so cool

hanging with your friends
it's like you're just pretend
in this so imperfect life
but the way you live it
like a tropical paradise

do you see right through me
you have your one and only
in your life
with the one by your side
you'll never be lonely

now you look away
i see that face everyday
and i dont know what to say
about it

how come they say I'm wrong
when i see you two
you look so strong

now that your with her
she plays behind your back
but you two look so strong
your future's going black

do you see right through me
you have your one and only
in your life
with the one by your side
you'll never be lonely

but cant you see what she has done
now i guess she's not the one
and she wants to pick up were you started from
now you see what you've become

cant you see right through her
not your one and only
in your life
with out her by your side
you'll always be so lonely

I'm a bit confused, it starts out first person, and, I think there's jealousy? Then it moves on to how this other person is happy and always will be, and then there's someone else with him and he might have partner problems, although you suggested there wasn't, and then they're perfect again, and then they're separated and then there's nothing between them...

I think there's some construction issues and the clarity of your theme is not coming through too clear.

Otherwise, it has an interesting theme and some direction and potential.

Yes 'jealousy' is the word, it seams to seep through it.
Though I suppose like most of your work or anybodies for that matter, if you were to put it to music your self, the way you hear it, it could be an excellent song.
