Crossroads
This is a piece I've already started working on, it comes from listening to the old blues masters on youTube and a small yet groovy bass line sample I was playing with :

I went down to the crossroads
With a suitcase in my hand
I went down to the crossroads
With a suitcase in my hand
I tried to explain
But they did not understand

I went down to the crossroads
With a suitcase in my hand
I went down to the crossroads
With a suitcase in my hand
I'll take the first ride to pick me up
And I'll just see where it'll land

I sat at the crossroads
With a guitar by my side
I sat at the crossroads
With a guitar by my side
I love my woman with all my hart
But it's still locked up inside

I sat at the crossroads
With a guitar by my side
I sat at the crossroads
With a guitar by my side
I'd play you a love song
But my hands are tied

I met a man at the crossroads
He looked very much like me
I met a man at the crossroads
He looked very much like me
An open case of loneliness
And a guitar tuned to D

I met a man at the crossroads
He looked very much like me
I met a man at the crossroads
He looked very much like me
I asked him where he's heading
He just said, 'we'll see'

I came to a crossroads
With the wind in my hair
I came to a crossroads
With the wind in my hair
I say 'drive on'
I've already been there

I came to a crossroads
With the wind in my hair
I came to a crossroads
With the wind in my hair
I've signed on the line
See if I care

I've signed on the line
See if I care

I've signed on the line
See if I care
