I love lyrics that you really have to think about to fathom or understand, and this song is a perfect example of that.  I love words that are vauge abstractions that at first apear as if they make no sesne at all, but when taken into thought you'll find that the abstractions are really metaphoric and figuritive links to deeper meanings.  Very well thought out and worded.  One thing a good songwriter has to be able to do is shape, mold and manipulate words in such a matter that leaves the listener both blown back and deep in thought, and I think you do that very well.  This song really makes you think about all sorts of things.  It envokes a lot of thought.   My favorite line:  "I rolled some evenin' grass and blew my day in mid-air
Flew thru rings of smoke, closed my eyes to your cares"
