Nobody Cares
we all know the story of a girl
and how she got locked out side her world
all she knew is now left behind
she has no home
she tried to find
her place

she's lost out side her world
she's just a messed up girl
yeah yeah yeah
she knows
nobody cares
and if she went home
nobody was there

now she's lost inside
trying to hide
oh oh
now she's lost inside
lost inside
oh

yeah
she's lost out side her world
she's just a messed up girl
yeah yeah yeah
she knows
nobody cares
and if she went home
nobody was there

trying to find her self
again
please she wants to get back in
something went wrong
she used to be so strong

she's lost out side her world
she's just a messed up girl
yeah yeah yeah
she knows
nobody cares
and if she went home
nobody was there

she's lost out side her world
she's just a messed up girl
yeah yeah yeah
she knows
nobody cares
and if she went home
nobody was there

Is this now one of your own or not?
If it is, keep on calling, there's a lot to say and a lot of people who'll understand!
Another question in the wind! Do you have music for it?

similarities, but...
Below are the lyrics to Avril Levigne's song, "Nobody's Home" There are similarities, but I don't see any plagiarism here. What does everyone else think?

Nobody's Home - Avril Levigne

Well, I couldn't tell you why she felt that way,
She felt it everyday.
And I couldn't help her,
I just watched her make the same mistakes again.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.

She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Open your eyes and look outside, find the reasons why.
You've been rejected, and now you can't find what you've left behind.

Be strong, be strong now.
Too many, too many problems.
Don't know where she belongs, where she belongs.

She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

Her feelings she hides.
Her dreams she can't find.
She's losing her mind.
She's fallen behind.
She can't find her place.
She's losing her faith.
She's fallen from grace.
She's all over the place.
Yeah,oh

She wants to go home, but nobody's home.
It's where she lies, broken inside.
With no place to go, no place to go to dry her eyes.
Broken inside.

She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah
She's lost inside, lost inside...oh oh yeah

It looks ok to me
does not look like the same words to me. May stand around the same idea sorta but the lyrics are enough of a difference to be original lyrics. imo

umm no
um no its not. i wrote this with my friend. k?

if you want i can even post guitar chords to prove it.

i dont impersonate. avril lavigne is a great writer. but i dont want to call her stuff mine. no offence to her or anybody. but i write my own stuff. and this is mine. i wrote it with insperation in my mind. but not because of avril lavigne's song.

Na Bees lyrics would be totally different once she puts them to music, to be honest at first impressions it doesn't look any thing like Avril.

But this is what you get Bee for having done it once, you get every one being really critical!

similarities, yes, but deemed original. if I look at my own lyrics from when I first started, god knows they looked a lot like lyrics of the bands I listened to at the time. it's just part of the process of finding your own style.

the only thing I can say - other than, well, these lyrics are pretty OK - is that I'd like to hear some of your stuff soon. to hear what kind of voice you have, what melodies you have in mind. All it takes to start out is a mic and an acoustic guitar, and a simple audio program. or maybe you have better ways of recording, like access to a studio, dunno, but thats not the point. coz your lyrics are all OK (except for what has been discussed), I just want to hear them in a song, that would be nice.

Stay strong
Bee, I can feel some strength from you. I hope you are not scared or discouraged by all the criticism, and that you now understand what is acceptable to post. If you have any questions, ask them to PuppetXeno. You can email him directly from your mailbox, or post them in the appropriate forum.

Keep posting and if you can post a simple recording, that would be awesome! I'd love to hear your singing style!
