I like the repeating of the first line, it keeps it simple, it emphasizes it more, you get to hear it twice and it makes it 'a song' as compared to 'a story'.
Reminds me a lot of my own style.

Well done! I can't disagree with you there kings, it really captured the bluesy feel, with the lyrics being that solemn, slow and woeful constant drag-you-down blues, I can hear the swinging rhythm and slurry vocals while underneath is a deep, mellow bass repeating throughout the song, you've got the blues bad!
