I really like the story's you tell, you must have had a really raw deal from some dude somewhere!
But you definitely put it and him in their place.

You obviously know what you mean but I don't get the "But you weren’t back" bit,
or should I say,
I feel you could have used another word instead of 'back' to end the chorus, something to make it rhyme and thus flowing it better.

Yea men in general are not the greatest creatures at expressing themselves.
