Beneath The Bridge
This fairy tale is inspired by the famous and whimsical concrete sculpture of a huge troll crushing a real Volkswagen Beetle in it's hand, set beneath a bridge near the ship canal in the city of Seattle. If anyone sees musical possibilities for this, I would be interested in a collaboration. Let me know!

Beneath The Bridge

Beneath the bridge a maiden waits
For one who’ll come to spirit her
To fertile ground where love will grow
To fertile ground where love will grow

Unaware that danger looms
Beneath the waters, swift and deep
She thinks of him and knows her heart
She thinks of him and knows her heart

But drawing near his sword is drawn
For racing toward his one beloved
He feels the menace drawing near
He feels the menace drawing near

As from the water, deadly stealth
Emerges from the slimy deep
To slake its hunger on her flesh
To slake its hunger on her flesh

The troll humongous, hewn of stone
Arises to its fearsome height
Exposing her impending death
Exposing her impending death

But she is fearless in its path
Her faith so strong she will not break
As he arrives to take her hand
As he arrives to take her hand

The battle rages, sword to stone
Until the foe is turned to sand
Beneath his blade of hardened steel
Beneath his blade of hardened steel

And who can know what destiny
Awaits the strong who still believe
That love alone will conquer all
That love alone will conquer all

Got a picture of that there Concrete Troll? it sounds like an interesting piece of art.

My own musical knowledge is not enough to go for a collaboration with you, but I can hear how it could be done.
If I can put aside these visions of Monty Pythons, I'd say that it would have to be Operatic Rock in nature to fully embrace the narrative.

I'm not as excited abut this one as I am about some of your other work, this one sounds too 'boldly knight'ish.
I have a few pieces like this, but not as 'dramatic'.

This is what I mean : http://forum.bandamp.com/Lyrics_Review/38136.html
