Lately I've been trying to write lyrics... I've got thousands of lines and ideas but somehow I never seem to get them on paper the way I'd like it to be... so I thought I might as well write a lyric about that... please comment and feel free to change/update.

Couplet 1:
Owh I would like to write it all of my chest
There's so much I've been through
There's so much I've seen and heard
So much wisdom gathered
But I just can't seem to let it out... to write it down

chorus:
Every day I keep on trying
Although I'm losing faith
Giving it another chance once more
Till one day... one day... I can say...
I've been writing from my soul

Couplet 2:
Owh I would like to write it all of my chest
There is so much I have an opinion about
So many emotions and situations that I recognize
so easily as I talk about anything... to anyone
But I just can't seem to let it out... to write it down

Alternative couplet:
Maybe it's just too personal and I'm not ready yet to share
Maybe it's just that I'm affraid that the message appears to be unilateral
Who will tell? Who will tell? Who can tell?

chorus:

Your trying to either say the old saying "Get it off my chest" in a different way or you've forgotten an 'f' in off  

You could do what David Bowie did and lay different lyrics out on the floor ... and kind of randomly put them back together as songs....!
It might work because they are from a period of time so are related.
I think the key here is in the second verse, that you say anything to anyone but cant write it down ... does everything need to be written down ? I have boxes of stuff written but never heard yet each one is a step to the next ...
