Frogmorton Duff!
These are strange lyrics with a strange title.  Basically it came about through one of my old band-mates (the bassist) saying "hey, it would be great if we could do a song called Frogmorton Duff".
I don't know why - I don't really remember the song even - but here are the lyrics for your slightly warped enjoyment!

Frogmorton Duff!
Sometimes I get to thinking
When things go up in flames,
Of changing plans of action
But the results seem just the same
Ending up in panic
Ending up in pain
Trying hard to convince myself
That life is just a dangerous, tiring game

I’ll do my disappearing act
Although there’s nothing wrong
I’ll tell you that what should be, is
But I can’t hide the facts for long.
Should I keep the truth from you
Or tell you where I go
And let the world into my secret
And not put on my fantastic show........

The secret is..............

The hands are moving steadily
Keeping time in time with time
But if I can gain just a minute
Then my out ... looks fine
Doing what I want to
Smoothing out the rough
Knowing that whatever happens
I’m still the same

These are good. You seem to adressing the reason for life and the feeling of trying so hard and getting no where, no matter what you do. And still talking compete rubbish at the same time.
Geniuse.

Hehe - yup, talking complete rubbish.  I agree - and thank you for the "sting in the tail" compliment.

(One day I may even post another song lyric I wrote called "Alas, poor Horace" - but I may need a few beers before I can do that.  I also think it's only fair that people get over my last three missives!!! )

Country songs and banjo - well that's something to think about.  It certainly wasn't that sort of song originally!

Still...... now who do I know that plays a banjo?  Hmmm
