Old old poem. |
Just found this! i must have been 13 or 14 at the time and thought it might be of interest to some of you I quite like it. Not sure if it can be used as a song though.
On this night of blacks and greys,
relationships begin to craze.
fire and heat this fight doth raise
upon your weakness feel me graze
with spirits burning, spirits saved.
Words are coal beneath this blaze.
of fire fire, dust and haze.
love is lost and rots, decays
Each others minds we often play,
like instruments who sigh in pain
then the sky begins to rain.
and feel our heat relieved of flame.
-Chester

This is neat. I remember being in a creative writing class in high school, and this reminds me of the stuff that people wrote in it. I think it could work as a rock song - in fact, the lyrics are reminiscent of Creed (now known as Altar Bridge, since they dropped the lead singer...)
