to bad the rain isnt outside
gripping my pillow stained in mascara

in the background soft and slow
the moonlight is casting shadows
on this endless night
but they dont quite hold me like you

because it hurts to remember you

- Well a lot of inspiration for this song, I hear it in my head, and I will not rest until I get it recorded and up on here...looks like I wont be resting for awhile..lol, Its kinda a rough version Im working out some kinks with some of the lyrics but this is the best one yet ( i have tired to write this several times) So let me know what you think!*

This was a sample song using the advice you sent me, with keeping the lines simular, and just reading it outloud it does seem like its going to be easy to add some composition. Thanks for the tip!

That's great, just need the music now, obvioulsly need a female vox, hmmm... could just imagine me singing about mascara, what would the neighnours think..lol
I've not been doing anything with lyrics for the last week, I'm just playing around with music ideas, practicing etc. It would be nice to see how well this song flows musically, as I'm confident it will.
