Fantasy Land
"Its all nothing but fiction"
is what I hear everyday
so I drift off into my fantasy land
where it only matters what I say
cold are the hearts
that realists of the world contain
If they don't live in Fantasy Land
they are the ones deranged.

I've been living in a Fantasy Land
where every thing's so real.
I'm never coming off this high
I love the way this feels
Here my dreams play out before me
and lovers tell no lies
and the definition of beauty is whats
before your eyes

Maybe they never got hugged enough
or an imagination to understand
just how great life is
in your own Fantasy Land
maybe someone broke their heart
so they think its impossible to love
since they have been hurt from the start

chorus

So here's to all you dreamers
who never learned to stop
who gave love a fighting chance
and learned it cant be bought
who got caught up in a story
and lived it everyday
who built your own Fantasy Lands
for your own little escape

*music and maybe a couple la la la's*

chorus

*fades out with some acoustic guitar ringing out the last chord, accordion and the paino*

--- Okay so i am thinking, mainly acoustic guitar, piano, kinda like Piano Man by Billy Joel, maybe also an accordion!----- its got a upbeat carnival music type thing...wish i could describe what i am hearing in my head, anyway...comments please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,

I love this song its sorta like an anthem to all of the dreamers
who dont dream because reality is unberable
but dream because... well THEY CAN!

they dont care if you like there style its them and its what makes them them!!

So here's to all you dreamers
who never learned to stop
who gave love a fighting chance
and learned it cant be bought
who got caught up in a story
and lived it everyday

people seem to stomp over YEAH!!
well.....that VERY thing was going on in my brain when i wrote my first song.

i shop at second hand stores.....i can't believe the stuff i've bought.  things that somebody's Grandmother made...needlepoint pictures....that maybe took months to make.....picked up for $1.

or wood carvings.....SIGNED.....to someone....with love....grandpa.

can't believe people throw away the things they do.

"that people seem to stomp over that really means the world to you"  you hit the nail on the head BANG ON.

thanks!

I know what you mean! its kinda sad that people sell that kinda stuff. it should be kept in the family. and Fantasy that is a really good song, but no carnival music please. its good with just guitar and maybe piano and DRUMS!

wow
im glad that, it relates to you. thats my main goal with my music is that it can relate to someone, or some situation.

As far as this particular song goes, i am really into this amazing book series, i have read it multiple times, i got caught up in it (still am ) and my mom just kept trashing it and telling me "its nothing but fiction" and that inspired my song.

its like a dont rain on my parade type thing.

thank you for your thoughts!

Edward Anthony Mason Cullen = inspiration. lol i love you sasquatch man, you crack me up. everybody is different so i appricate your opinion good sir. at least you read it and gave it a chance! more than some people do. however i am not one of those screaming oggleing girls that are like "OMG!!! OH Its Rob pattinson! Oh my!!" no one can be edward, nobody would fit that character. i am not your typical twilighter however i am a proud twilighter. I guess i am surprised that a hippy like yourself doesnt reconize a great love story.

now HOLD ON!!!

being the hippy that i am....

I can see the fact that every girl needs an "edward"

someone to come sweep them off there

feet and take them on some great

life changing adventure....

and i recognize (in todays culture) twilight apitimizes this...

but however..

the fact that now we have 20million screaming teen girls

in LOVE w/ some made up character

and some 14 million teen girls depressed that they

cant find an edward and so they throw themselves at every guy

thinking that he is "the one"

I myself cant describe love.. i dont know what it feels like

i cant even IMAGINE what it could be like...

and honestly i think there are few people in todays world that can

now i do spread a message of peace and love

but TRUE LOVE between 2 people is completely different

but it just kinda bothers me that we have 14,15,16 year old girls

thinking they are in love with some guy

who is just wanting in their pants and the girl

thinking she is in "love"

goes and does something stupid for a guy who

dosnt really care about her now

let alone give a flying **ck in 5 10 or 15 years!!!

i dont know !!! i think im just in a bad mood but thats why i dont like twilight!!!

nothing against your or your (horribile) taste (kidding)

but yea i still love you ms. white

SASQUATCH! YOU TREE HUGGIN HIPPY YOU lol

okay i totally agree with you. romance/chick flicks (t.v., movies, and books) tend to leave an unrealistic idea of men that girls are carrying around. Its not right.  So they find themselves in a one sided relationship, because he might say the right thing, and do those few nice gestures (that girls read about/ see on t.v., and movies) at first then he just moves on to not caring leaving her heartbroken. However i have to say its just a lack of maturity on both sides.  Like I said nobody can be Edward, because nobody is perfect. The media doesnt help either, they parade these celebrities around like they are gods. I think Rob did a good job at playing the role of Edward, but thats just it, its just a job, he's not the real deal. Because Edward Cullen doesnt exist. So i agree with you. I apprciate Twilight for what it is a great work of FICTION. Girls need to get a handle on reality, and so do some guys. This is a good conversation!

ms. moo
haha ms.moo i wish you were right....

I seem to have no luck with lady's..

idk i met this one girl and it all might be turning around...

but for the most part...

its not that they dont like me...

its that they are all kinda immature...

thats why my last girlfriend..

is now in college!!! hahaha

no lie but yea.. i've always  been around

people WAY older than me.. like when i was 7

i was hanging with people like 17 and 18..

so i guess that might have something to do..

with ALOT of things haha....

 but yea.. thanks again ms.moo
