FL Studio 6 Microphone HELP!!!
Ok, so I want to play with Vocoders and such with FL. When I tried to set an input device in the Mixer, I couldn't select anything. I've got a standard microphone, plugs into the mic port at the back. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, Fl has to recognize the input of your soundcard....  Seems to only work with certain cards...  That is to say that it never recognized my onboard card and I was out of luck until I upgraded to an M-Audio external card...  Anyone else?

That'll work fine but i recommend rendering to .wav to save quality!

no, Actually an Mp3 is a compressed format for sound, the original being Wav format.  When you convert (or compress) to Mp3 you actually lose a certain amount of information so its always advisable to keep your sound in Wav format if possible.

asio4all is great if you don't want to spend any money on a soundcard, but it causes lots of glitches in your audio unless you have it set right, and it still doesn't beat a good soundcard in terms of latency.

Also, I don't think he needs ASIO4ALL because that has nothing to do with his question!
