AUDACITY experts read this --
Alright, I guess there isn't really anywhere else to ask this;

IN audacity, is there any way to change panning through a single track, kind of the like the "event" function in FL? I know that at the left hand side there is the volume and panning control, but what I want is panning to change; moving from one side to the other through a part of the song. I think you know what I mean.

Audacity is rather simple, which is what makes it so good btw.. but, there are no auto controls that will pan it for you at certain places.. What I always did, was if it 's a stereo track, I would lower the volume on the left side to make it more in the right, then lower the volume in the right side to make it more in the left.. If it is a mono track, I would duplicate the track, and then set one left and one right, and do the above mentioned process...

No, there isn't. Try a plug-in/VST, there is probably one out there that will do this.
