Hey, has anyone learned a metallica song and then added in their own improv on solos and such that sounded really good? It's just too hard to find tabs to kirks amazing shredding solos and its even harders to learn it by ear  , Anyone?? Anyone??

I have great tabs to several metallica songs  I can send them to you if you want,. or go to ultimate guitar tabs.(you'll need guitar pro for the good ones) and hunt thru the 40 crappy ones, till you find the guy that nailed it.

whats funny is I learned, For Whom The Bell Tolls and Sad But True , years ago by ear , then we recently decided to play em , I got the good tabs and found out I was playing it right after all.  and.....

Yes I do change whatever I want, and how ever I want with cover tunes.

id apreciate if you could send them to me. i've been looking for tabs for a long time and it always seems like no one can get it right.

If he "PM"s you the tabs then that should work. (PM is like right next to edit and all that jazz but you people probably already know this so im gonna leave lol)
