Everything is free if you want it to be. The best noise reduction engine I have used is in what is now called Adobe Audition, formerly known as Cool Edit Pro.
I've found trail versions of this software, but where will I find a free version, I've done a google etc.
I think the adobe was a lot of money to buy, Iwill have to check it again.
