always in for cheap here, so I dont have the Mac for this one.
KVR is great btw !
Think my €120 Fender amp which came with Amplitube VST is more then enough for me , never used Guitar Rig since then.

Followed Denis's kvr_free link and looked around ...
this seemed like a cool pack :http://www.kvraudio.com/product/modern_plugins_by_antress
Clicking the 'Free Download' link takes you to the Antress blog page with download and info on all the plugins in the pack.

O! Mac ! OK so these are for those with the PC interface !

Native Instruments
I was at KVR checking out the vsts, saw REAKTOR, supposedly free ... downloaded and installed, it was a demo and didnt they really make sure I knew that .. no saving no editing and you get 30 minutes to 'fully try the product'.
Now that is a crap set up to start with but what REALLY pissed me off was that when I uninstalled the official demo they actually proceeded to uninstall ALL my vst plugins ... the whole lot ... I caught it in time but fuck me what a bunch of c***s.

Ive had things like this before from Native Instruments but that was a vst plugin with a hacked serial ... this was an official demo ... a very bad excuse for a try before you buy.

So BE WARNED ... that's all

damn that's a bad thing!
i never heard this and i know the site gets recommended a lot on Homerecording.be
If you are sure there is no illegal software involved you could ask around there, just dont mention you had a crack installed, you'll get banned :p

EDIT: did it really uninstall them or just tremove the dll's? if so they might be in the source/brand map and you can copy it into the VST folder again

Yeah you know what's funny.. It took me a long time to figure out how to install the VST DLL and where to install them.   I had to do a lot of reading/research to figure it out.. different for  different DAW's
