Okay soo I have the Crate BT50 amplifer. It has a 12" 8ohm 50 Watt RMS. I was wondering what would i have to do to be able to run a 4ohm Car Audio Bass Subwoofer, or should i give up before ruining my amp? (i have like 4 Subwoofer rated for 1200watt max rating sooo no biggie if i fry one of those =P)

while readin online i read that i think to make it work i would need two identical speakers both of 4ohm impidence or w/e to be the same as the one 8ohm speaker i have for the Resistance portion i would believe...sooo if this is true by wiring up my two 12" Sony explode 1200watt max speakers with 4ohm resist on both speakers in my Subwoofer box, my bass amp would power the whole thing without damaging anything i would hope......but im worried about this due to we hooked up the 2 subwoofers before to a Johnson Reptone 15 and blew that up and that speaker had a 8ohm resistance as well.... sooo idk i would think a Bass Specfic amp would better handle this....
