I had Dropbox, found it annoying at first because it kept prompting me, took me ages to figure out how to stop it, but it's OK to use.
Google Drive is just that, it's quite easy to use, no advertising also.

Through my communications with Maxdb I've also installed dropbox ... again.
It hasn't  hassled me at all ... it just sits there ... waiting ... obediently

Anything developed that's offered free on the internet has a catch somewhere ... install yahoo search bar, 15 day trial, change your home page, free adverts in your face or their selling your email address to the Chinese !
