the timeout on this site is wayyyyy to short. many too many times have i written a long post only to click the post button where it brings me to the dreaded red-exclamation point page. this is totally stupid. you should relese the timeout on your CGI session scripts to be much more lax, like an hour or so. OR at least give a "remember me" click box on the login function for those of us who want it. i'm just pissed at having to re-write my posts and longer articles time and time again.

Alright... I've added:

ini_set('session.cookie_lifetime','86400');

To all the pages... So the cookie should last one hour... I'm not entirely sure this will work though... Lemme know

this still happened to me once though on IE... long post... i've gotten in the habit of saving them prior to hitting "post" though... but it does seem to have taken effect otherwise... just happened once more though on IE...

I've just added cookies to the forum, so now when you log in via http://my.bandamp.com/login.html you will have the option to save a cookie. This cookie will stay on your computer for 30 days, within that time, you will never have to log in again. Very nice
