Any Attachments...??
well i found out that there is no medium on this site for sending attachments
or sharing any other material  with others.....

is any new work in progress..???

my idea is that there should be some attachment facility with the PMs...
i thinks that sometimes due to this disability.....
the members have to take a lot of trouble for collaboration work.

this attachment facility would add to the beauty and advantage of this Great site!!!

no only song materials but other files and folders can be easily sent via this...

thanks.

edit: well i posted this in the wrong forum...
maybe it should be in the Ideas+Feedback forum...
please move this if its appropriate...

Actually, if there where the ability, it would also open the site up to virus's and give spammers more venues than they have now...   I personally have never had any trouble sharing files with members of Bandamp...  I send and receive many with quite a few members here....  There are two decent programs to help..  one is MSN/Windows Messenger which is probably already installed on your machine, and most people use... The other is a European VoIP software, called Skype ..  Both are free to use, both allow you to "chat" as well as talk voice using your pc's mic and speakers...  Both also allow file transfers.. so you can chat a bit while you send files.... makes it nice, you know they got the file ok, you can talk about ideas in real time......
also, I believe yahoo mail, and Gmail allow up to a gig in file size now...

Hope that helps you..  Skype is by far the better choice, the transfer speed is better and the interface is nicer... and it's not Bill Gates..
