We could make our own sampling vsts (for NI Kontakt or other systems) available for download on the bandamp website/forums.

It would make us really popular (people like free stuff), and we'dd probably get a ton more members if we required registration to download them or something like that

I've suggested a forum for things like this before, it could be the 'downloads forum' with sticky threads.
We could offer 'settings files' : sfb's and sfx's or FL files or even midi sound font files ...

We just need a place holder (a forum) and it will fill up in it's own time.

Yes , seems to be necessary developing apps in the "modern smart phone world" to be seen / heard.
I don´t know much about apps and what they´re needed for. I´m still a "normal handy user "
(mobilephone = handy, in german).
But it can be a new source of creativity for some people.
