Okay, well I don't know if this is even a possible idea, but I think all members on BandAMP should try a new thing with song remixes. I'll provide a list of instructions to describe what should happen:

-BandAMP members select ONE song of any genre, created by any user.
-Everyone participating listens to the song.
-Participants remix the song in their own style, whether it be beat, genre, or simply adding vocals. The only condition is that the song must have the same tempo and duration (so that it sounds kinda like the original).
-Finally, participants submit their songs. If say, the original was called "Song1", participants would enter the remixes as "Song1-(Usernamehere). For example: "Song1-XFactor".
-After the deadline is met, participants (and other members) can select on a remix they like best.

-Winner gets a waffle.

I think this would be a fun thing to see what everyone's musical styles are!

You should check indaba...It does that in a bigger scale...They provide the tracks though..
