Streetz Beatz Musix and N2o2 Entertainment will be conducting a TALENT SEARCH for Bands/Singers starting from July 1, 2011 until Sept 4, 2011.
This competition will take place in New York City starting on Aug 7. It is a 4-week competition that will have a panel of three to four qualified music professional judges. The event will not be open to the public, but only to invited guests that are involved in the music industry. Bands are NOT required to sell tickets!
Pre-screening for bands/singers will begin on July 1, 2011 and be held in a venue located in New York and New Jersey. All musicians must be over 18 years old, if not, a manager, agent, or parent/guardian must present them.
Deadline to submit CD will be July 28, 2011. Please read RULES for more information:
RULES:
1, Bands/Singers will be required to perform songs that are ORIGINAL and they must OWN the rights to those songs. NO COVER SONGS allowed.
2, Bands/Singers must be ON TIME and there during sound check which will take place ˝ hour before event.
3, Bands/Singers are responsible for their own equipment, instruments and belongings. The venue and organizer will NOT be held responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged equipment, instruments or belongings.
4, Bands/Singers are NOT allowed to engage in any conversation to network with any of the judges, special guests or celebrities escouted in the audience. If any musician conducts this activity, they will be eliminated from the competition.
5, Once a band/singer is eliminated, they must leave in a professional manner. They are still eligible for other showcases and competitions.
6, There will be a pre-screening of bands/singers from July 1 to July 28, 2011. It will be held in a venue either in New York City or New Jersey. There will be a non-refundable ENTRY FEE of $60.00 if the band/singer is selected to be in the event.
7, The competition ends on Sept 4, 2011. The winner will receive a recording contract and be featured in the film entitled “BREAKOUT” which will be released in April 2012. The contract terms will be discussed at a later stage.
8, All rules are regulated by the State of New York and New Jersey.
