This song is not in a battle

The second song I recorded with Roman. Originally it is a german poprock song called "Eigene Wege (geh' ich nur mit Dir)". He wrote the lyrics in polish "Daleka droga" (engl. "The long way"). Music by me. A well trained musical ear can hear my voice in the background chorus  . Hope you like it...thank you for listening

Haha, I'd really wanna know what Roman is singing in here. The only I know is that it's a long way to love (what else). What Im singing in German I do know, but this is the polish version. See also my posted song "Josy (PL)". Its in polish too.

re: Daleka Droga
I was surprised to see a song with polish lyrics and had to have a listen. The music sounds very good to me - I've already listened to it a couple of times (did Roman had to do anything with the arrangement 'cause it sounds very polish?).

Do not feel offended that I should have a go at the lyrics. Is the german version about the same thing (unfulfilled love)? This will only encourage me to put a polish-lyric song on bandamp.com soon.
Give my regards to Roman.

If you were a bit more lyrical, it could have been completely different
A bit less firm, I could have been still dreaming of you
If you weren't so practical, you would have been with me, not with him
A little less cynical, than beeing together would have been easier.

The world keeps spinning round, and you're spinning with it - one can go crazy
I know for sure that this is not my way (my world),
a different one is calling me

the long way is calling me ...

Another good track from you, decent composition, instrumentation and production. I agree that he has a cool voice. The chorus is catchy too

well...this is another song that I have somehow missed....and to these ears...this is GREAT! The production, instrumentation, vocals, song structure....everything is really excellent. And I don't mind the "pop" orientation at all!

Well - I still love this one - I have some MINOR issues as to vocal compression and placing in the mix - it's a bit to upfront IMO but maybe that's the thing. However, Monica and I keep coming back to this song - great lyrics, wonderful melodies. This song has got something magical in it.

Hey TK, I thought I'd listen to some of your music.

This is Pro stuff, and it sounds like everybody's having fun.

Maybe you could enter in the next eurovision song contest!!

Cheers

Hey, guys, Eurovision it is (whatever it means to different people)!  It sounds very Euro-pop (incl. the bridge at 2.25--2.50), but is surely much better than most of it: unpretencious and catchy melody sung with a feeling (kudos to you, Roman!).  I vote.  Give us more of it.  Regards.
P.S. I am a sucker for rock/pop sung in Polish since that day in 1968 when I first heard Czerwony Gitary's Kwiaty we wlosach
