I wrote a small Christmas song as a present for my partner this year. I'm still working on the lyrics, suggestions are welcome! This is meant to be a short song, reminiscent of the short interlude tracks on prog albums like Wond'ring Aloud on Aqualung. Thanks for listening!

Christmas cheer is in the air
You can hear it beckon on the wind
And I can feel it wash good tidings out to sea

But I did not bring you gifts my dear
There's nothing slipped beneath the tree
Just this simple christmas song and melo-dy

So have a merry christmas and a happy new year
They'll be plenty more to come for you and me
