Deep Down Lovin Feelin
*

This song is not in a battle

This is intended to be a cheesy bluegrass love song for my lady. Hope you like it, it's a clap-a-long!

I got sunshine on a rainy day
I got this deep down lovin' feelin in my heart
And I got your sweet voice to ease my pains
I got all this deep down lovin' feelin' in my heart

'cause my baby she takes care of me
feeds me chicken, wine, and weed oh my
lifts a soul when I feel blue
Nothin this world could tempt me so

I got your soft touch to raise me up
I got this deep down lovin feelin in my heart
and I got lightning spillin' from my guts
I got your deep down lovin feelin in my heart

'cause my baby she takes care of me
feeds me chicken, wine, and weed oh my
lifts a soul when I feel blue
Nothin this world could make me feel the way she makes me feel

And when your feelin lonesome at the end of a long day
You've always got that deep down lovin feelin in your heart
And the earth can wrap around itself and the distance melt away
When you've got that deep down lovin feelin in your heart
You got that deep down lovin feelin in your heart
You've gotta have that deep down lovin feelin in your heart

just reviewed your song In that Sweet by and by....

this song is great too

i mentioned about mic placement .... this song is alive ... the other (very good) but a little remote (far away) because of where the mic is when u recorded it

love your lyricism in both songs and want to hear more

The progression is really gratifying for the transition to chorus.  The vocal has a nice natural ebb and flow to it, brings focus to the words themselves.  Do you intend to find ways to lengthen it, or do you feel like that would start to dilute what you've made?  It probably doesn't need any extra sections or choruses or anything, but you could probably get away with a slightly expanded instrumental finish.

Good song!
