This a heavy rock song I made with my band. We used a Line 6 soundcard for guitar, bass and vocal and Ez drummer for the drums, because we couldnt afford a real studio, the result is still very nice. The vocal were recorded pretty quick, so it could maybe use some work

Yes that's not bad at all, though the mix could use some "fattening up" (a matter of mastering the track)... And yeah you need to re-do the vocals, use compression and probably double them several times, and subtle stereo effects to put them properly in the mix. Instrumentally the recording is pretty sweet - nice guitar solo there, grooves all good but I have to say that as a whole it is quite "generic" - not a gourmet dish so to speak, but who can argue with a peanutbutter sandwich?
