Hey all.
Got a new interface recently and decided to put together an EP again.
As always I value the your feedback, and eagerly await your comments & critique.
This track needs serious mixing, and probably a revisit on the vocal recordings.
Another thing I can't shake is the feeling of it all being out of time in the chorus.
Anyways listen for yourselves and let me know.

Interesting composition.
So do you need help with the mixing or are you going to remix it?
The chorus is too similar to the verses, it needs a lift, sung higher, rhythm change, more flowing. You could also add some harmony or backing vocals oohs or aahs.
I like the vocal effect, nice presence.
If you intend to keep the bass drum dominant in the mix, I would recommend to have something trebley to support it, like in reggae mix - a rhythmic hi-hat with the treble boosted for instance, or even a triangle.

so one thing i might add is a pad chord ... v quiet underneath to support the vocals ... like really quite
silent .. well nearly fish
i change my mind .... i like it as it is ...

as u mention
the thing about it not feeling in time
i am kind of getting that too on this listen
its just so ever a tiny bit not in the groove
depends on the DAW u record in if u can get into the trax and line it up???
i use protools so if I can help let me know
tell us what u use to record ..... maybe we can point u to ways to tighten it up in the mix???

Yeah this is good too. I agree with fish though about the timing.
Like Dennis said the chorus and verses sound somewhat alike.
If you remix this I would use a layer program like pro layers or Nch Wavepad editor.
You can line the tracks perfectly with this because you see the entire wave audio.
Some overlapping with subtle changes and/or backups would work in this tune.
