It’s in the battle 2013-07

A song by TAIZELS from Latvia. Unfirtunately it exists only in Russia at the moment. I wrote the lyrics.
Here is aò approximate English translation

I’ll leave this buffoonery stage quietly and peacefully
Full moon and southern wind will take me away
Nobody will notice
My shadow will dissolve
Nobody will notice
I’ll close my eyes and let my dreams fly away
Somewhere there, on the edge of the world

I’m so tired of this never-ending war
Of ups and downs
And of useless fight
I start seeing the air
And I bite my own nerves
It doesn’t matter who is the first
I close my eyes and let my dreams fly away
Somewhere there, on the edge of the world

The fire is dancing
Somebody’s hitting the alarm
You’re either a slave or a soldier in this world
A slave or a soldier – no other choice
Heads or tails
And a dead end in front
But close your eyes and let your dreams fly away
Somewhere there, on the edge of the world

Beautiful opening, beautiful performance and recording. Then it really gets interesting. Love the transition to a hard rock/metal feel. Great vocalist. Love the guitar work. Very, very cool. I tried to follow along with the posted lyrics but I wish either I understood the language or there was an english version but wasn't a big deal.  In any case I really enjoyed the song.

Hey, that´s a good song, guys. No matter if it´s sung in russian, english or suaheli    .
Pretty good production. Is it recorded/mixed in a studio or is it a home recording? Sounds really pro.
I like the small reverb/delay-effects in the chorus. Great idea.
Gitti solo has also a fantastic tone and is played pretty expressive, but it´s a lil bit ..........ehhhm..........generic. Some unusual ideas would be great here.

I love the reverb/echo effect in parts of the vox at the end of the phrases - works really well, great imagination.
Yeah well produced, although the drums could do a bit of work, they don't cut through as much as everything else.

How well is being perceived in Latvia? Have you tried to promote it?

Well done

Great rich sounding recording

feels like guitar pushed back a bit through compression

like guitar could poke through a bit more between vocals

the vocals get raw (cool) but the guitar stays at same level / intensity.

I love it

Well done :star:

Hard to tell. The problem is that the society in Latvia is strongly devided into 2 parts - Latvian and Russian. This ia a Russian group, which is rather well-know among Russians. But you cannot earn money playing music in Latvia unless you are supported by the state. Latvian groups are usually supported tthrough invitations to concerts financed by some state entities. They also have a possibility to use record studios at the national TV and Radio. Russian groups - never.

Love the nice sounding little guitar solo's. Good production. Nice guitar riff in chorus. Wish it was English.
