This song is not in a battle

Another Eagles cover - I used to sing this in the first 3 piece band I was in back in the early eighties.

Great vocals. Great voice.
Are all the voices you or did you get help?

What mics do you use on the voice?

How did you get that sides tick sound?
It seems to fill out so nicely without being anything more than what it is.

Really inspiring.

Thanks for comments.
I worked hard on the main vocal, practised for about an hour a day over 5 days. The harmonies was done over many takes.
Vocal Mic - Rode NT1-A - superb value very little noise ratio
Guitar Mic - Rode NT-5 - Superb for acoustic guitar
The Pre-amp is also very important, which is a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 - Superb preamps, very true sound and little noise, again great value.

Not sure what you mean about 'Sides tick sound' - The drums had a Rim Shot if that's what you mean, Which I adjusted the eq a bit and a little compression, that's all. Used Ezdrummer Funkmaster Jambo kit, the most realistic sounding acoustic drums in the EzDrummer kit selection.

I've seen some of your videos over the past few years (it has been), everytime amazed by your multi-instrumental mastery. Though your music may be a wee too tame for my tastes, I find your tunes almost therapeutically relaxing. That is a rare trait only shared by Mark Knopfler and some Fleedwood Mac tunes (in my opinion). And ofcourse this is an Eagles tune fitting that profile, your delivery may exceed the original.

Thanks for the mic list, Dennis. This is a huge help.
I've been having trouble with the acoustic.
I'm gonna look into these.
