The Artifact (Intro)
*
This is the placeholder for a new MP3 player

This song is not in a battle

I'm in the mood to share some more commissioned work Here's the intro theme of an untitled game that's being released on PC (maybe this year).  It's an adventure/mystery game.

Again, not my usual style, but I do enjoy orchestral music!

The lead developer wanted music for the intro of the game and I asked him "What's the theme" and "Where will it take place?"  Our conversation took us to the conclusion that he wanted 3 themes or ideas in the intro:

1) The Mystery - What IS the artifact? (0 - 0:16)
2) The Danger - Am I being followed? Are they trying to find me? (0:16 - 0:32)
3) The Choice - I know it's dangerous, but I must protect it. (0:32 - end)

Very fun to work on this one and I like writing in themes

Simply SUPERB.
Great imagination and choice of instrumentation.
You should do more like this - Who knows, you could commission the next Blockbuster Movie....

Thanks for sharing with us.

Thanks for listening!

A movie? I've always wanted to try my hand at film scoring to be honest, but I don't think I have the patience for it lol

Maybe it is my imagination at work, but I feel like there should be a long "tribal" horn blow at the end. Just me

Great composition and I love the intro.

I'm really impressed that you wrote down what each part represents .... and each part is spot on.
Wonderful stuff, you creative genius.
So it's only an intro? will they use it as parts or expanded parts during the game?

Iszil, Kings, and Marino, thanks for listening!

This is just the music for the intro and the menu for the game.  I've written 2 more tracks for the game (a chase scene and a sad piano theme).  Hahah I'm not really supposed to be sharing these works though, I don't think the dev would be happy
