What's bumper music? Is it music you stick to the back of your car?

I'm actually trying to remix it again. I think it could come out cleaner with drums being heard better. My problem is trying to figure out the ins and outs of how to equalize sound so it sounds like how professionally produced recordings sound on average speakers. Also, I need to learn compression better, and how to keep all levels volumized so when they're combined they don't push past 0 dbs.
