A quick recording of a new song I wrote this morning
Very early stage as usual but let me know what you think

Nice happy vib - I can hear Violins/cello in place of the rhythm guitar.
I'd try raising the key by at least a full tone, my gut feeling is your vox will cut through better.

Nice

Strings sound like a great idea
So far it's very much at the basic stage
I'm happy with the key though I want that "crooner feel" on the vocals

I really like this a lot.  very witty lyrics. nice melody. needs a stand up bass going on though. it's great like it is,  I just hear a great old style sounding stand up bass hitting the bump bump,, bump bump with the guitar chords.

Beautiful rendition
Yes,  the lyrics are a bit cliché, but I love the chord progression. Lead guitar needs work, but the vocals are hot and beautiful.

I dig this...perfect for a cruise ship or being played at Starbucks. I agree about the stand up bass or a harmonica. That would mesh well with this...
