This song is not in a battle

This is an (almost) kitchig ballad I wrote a long time ago and just now got around to recording. We added some digital bass stuff and a piano at the very last minute. Let me know what you think! Thanks.

Nice song - vocals strong and clear, guitars mix well panned left and right, but the guitar solo does not sync with well rhythm guitar, maybe try something like the intro or simply jam around to it and see what else you can create.. The song stands strong as a pure acoustic, would rather have heard a a violin or flute.
Enjoyed the song, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon

yeah, (almost) too sweet, but a great performance on gtr and vox.
some little timing issues which are in great contrast with the rest of the song
something surprising would be nice, the solo is a bit 'too safe' for that, the piano doesn't add enough,
just my thought..
a violin would probably be great
A good job so far but can you make it a great job?

Extremely enjoying this recording!

I really want to learn your mic placement when recording the guitars, they sound clean and fantastic!

I love the contrast in the lyrics as well: Water and Fire.  Great job!

I often get asked how I record my acoustic.  I've seen and read countless tutorials, everyone is different. So perhaps look at as many as possible, then experiment until you have found what works for you. Aside recording techniques, IMO the most important part is your performance.  I try to strum quite lightly in general, to me you hear more of the natural acoustics, or just sounds more pleasant.  This recording by Tom is played softly

This is probabley the best tutorials I've seen so far.

Recht haste. Ab und zu muß einfach auch mal ne Schnulze sein.

Good performance, good recording.
Sometimes I´d like to hear a harmony voice on selected spots ( single words or short lines.....). That would set a course, would set "sparkling highlights", would give more accentuation, would round out the song ..........Just an idea, impression.
