Wow this is fantastic! I hear the essence of Barton Carroll in your voice (if he sang a few notes higher). Such emotion in the vibrato in your vocals, it's genuinely heartfelt! Guitar work, the shakers, your voice = Awesome!
The panning of the 2 guitars at the beginning immediately catches your attention and makes it interesting to listen from the start. There also brilliantly played which helps. very sweet sounding. Comparing this to run away, I'm guessing you prefer playing acoustic...? The beautiful simplicity of this song reminds me of Don Williams but my knowledge/experience of country music shamefully doesn't span to Barton Carroll who might be a closer fit... not that we're trying to compare you to anyone
Great song, well executed... sounds so classic that you'd think it was a country legend if it came on the radio
Well done

Yes lovely, yes classic
Such clarity
Tis short ... a few more choruses to lengthen and strengthen it, and to really get it into the listeners head for good.
Make more of the 'riding ... back to you' ... wake it up and drum it out..... or does she only live down the road ?
