Don't You Ever Forget
*

This song is not in a battle

I wrote this for my son.

He lies down quietly
smiling at the things he sees
There's not a thing that will push him off the ground
And some beautiful colors caught his eye
He ran too fast and stumbled, now he cries
But who is that you see?
Mommy...

Mommy will make you feel much better
Mommy will take your pain away
Mommy will hold your hand forever
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget...

Mommy will make you feel much better
Mommy will take your pain away
Mommy will hold your hand forever
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget
Don't you ever forget

This is pretty lovely. Gits sound nice.
Yes, vox harms were sung great.  Perhaps you might clear up the solo vox in the beginning a bit by using another EQ-setting and adding hi-mids.

Hey Kine nice to to see posting again.
Love the composition.
It sounds like you either recorded the vox and acoustic in a echoy room, or you have used a plate style reverb.
If it's the reverb, I'd try something like a small hall effect, and very little, hence to me it should have a more intimate sound.

reminds me of pink floyds mother, probably just because there aren't many songs written about mums really (not that I can think of anyway). beautiful sentiment to the lyrics. really nice song...

personally, i'm loving the guitar reverb, esp on the higher picked notes. The fingerpicked pattern sounds a wee bit close and bassey. The vox in the chorus are really good... rich and warm...

Good to see you posting songs again
