I've gone through some really tough and emotional years, blocking me from writing music
I'm trying to pick it up again and this is my first attempt this year.

I hope someone can post my demo back with some melody or vocal ideas for me to
continue on.

Sounds good to me.but unfinished..Wish you could sub the midi sound for something more real...Music composition is excellent...good 2012 start!

Wow. Unfinished. That is my only complain. I was really getting into that! I love this. I wish the main "lead" had a little more Caribbean/island feel to it (I think this is what Marino meant with something more real?) And I completely agree with him when he says it is a good 2012 start!

The best wAy to find a melody line to your rhythm track is to play the scale in time, jam to it, sing to it, LET YOURSELF GO. If it helps have a couple units of alcohol, just so that you are a little relaxed, if you don't drink, MEDITATE, which is better.
Keep it simple.
