Get on your knees & crawl
*

This song is not in a battle

OK, I think this is pretty much the final version. I'll probably make some tweaks here and there in the future but this is pretty much it. So any feedback is very welcome.

Lyrics:

Come here my son
Come, eat from me
I am the good
That will fill your needs

Come, take my heart
That for you will bleed
Come, drink my blood
That this lie will feed

I died for you
Would you die for me?
At least you should
Prove yourself worthy

I don't ask much
Just your dignity
And your blind devotion
Towards me

I'm the only one
There's nothing more
If you want salvation
Get on your knees and crawl

Don't get me wrong
I'm here to help
And take your fears
And pain away

There's one condition
So this works well
I need submission
As you hear the bell

Don't dare to question
All that I say
My word is law
My rage is hell

I will condemn you
Won't hesitate
You are just nothing
I rule your fate

I'm the only one
There's nothing more
If you want salvation
Get on your knees and crawl

Get on your knees and crawl
Get on your knees and crawl

Cheers.

I think this is the result you tried to achieve when you started working on this song. Don´t have any advices to improve it. Baby´s grown up now.

Sounds excellent! Production is spot on (I have an ear infection, so everything sounds panned hard left to me), but I'd much rather sway to this in a dark pub, murmuring jagged approvals.

Great job all round - another track for an Album.
If I were to be picky, the snare, symbols and very slightly the vocals sound flat.

Superb music

Thank you, guys.
I'll consider your comment, Denis, for further tweaking, but you mean they sound flat musically or in the mix?

A! I had not commented yet ! Bad crack, I've listened loads

Absolutely excellent stuff ... you definitely know how to make them.
You do push your vocal range a bit, I know your 'giving it all' ... practice your singing half as much as you practice your guitar and you'll hit it right and not sound strained.

I like the flatness in the vocal ... music is all around ... voice is ... right there in front of you ! Screaming at you

Thank you guys!

I feel bad about this song because I love it so much I think I'm being narcissistic and egomaniac. Sometimes I wonder if it's wrong to love your own music too much but I guess this phrase I read some time ago is not completely wrong: the songwriter creates the music he'd like to hear but can't find anywhere.

I'll be re-recording and mixing it soon so it ends up sounding the best I can.

Explosive and passionate & yup very cool ...really love the arrangement lines and the journey.
The guitars sound great the organ solo MrTVL incarnate what can I say.
Vocals are working hard & this is also very connected to those lyrics.
It;s  prog rock musical theatre Jim but not as we know it ..not opera either but stay with me,
