A family full of musical background.
Go ahead. There's a lot of potential and talent.
I rate it as a raw version of a very nice song. Couldnt complete follow the lyrics. Maybe you'll publish the lyrics one day !?!?!

Nice feel - Like it
Any other family members that can play an instrument? - you sound good together.

Your sister has a nice relaxed vocal tone, but I'm struggling to make out some of the words - Can you post them here please. Drums are Solid (Bass drum probably too dominant for an acoustic song, but still like it),  Rhythm guitar also solid.

Well done

Thanks for the input!

Her recording could have been better, her volume tended to fluctuate a lot and I did my best to equalize it through out the song.

LYRICS

happy you left
uncertain to cry
sad to have rained
glad to stay dry

and it was gone
in the blink of my eye
steady wave
a long goodbye

so take your coat
bundle up
back on your journey you belong
another way
to save the day
and I think you may have saved mine

today will be gone
another to come
I'll wait for the day it will all be done

a step ahead
I'll step aside
this life it winds and opens wide

take your coat
don't be long
I have better things to do
you scream and shout
I'm down and out
and I think maybe you are too . . . are too

And I think maybe you are too

so take your coat
and bundle up
back on your journey you belong
another way
to save the day
and i think you may have saved mine

so take your coat
take it all
I'm sure I wont be missing you
I watch you go
it's sad you know
so here, I'll hold the door for you

a long goodbye
a long goodbye

Whoooouu, what a nice fem voice. Very lovely and warm.
And the instrumental arrangement fits absolutly to the chant. Thatīs some modern folk music. Simple, full, expressionate and strong.
Good job

I'm very impressed!!! Beautiful short song, and I REALLY love your sisters voice! I mean that was really good. I can't wait to hear what else you'll add to the amp! Very excited. Really really cool job man! Keep it up. Great guitar playing too

When's the album?

Subtly powerful folk. I'm looking forward to hearing an extensively mic'ed acoustic guitar on this, to fill that slight void where there is no bass guitar. I find myself swaying gently.

Really beautiful song. Your sister's voice is damn good.
There's a lot to work on the mixing department but that's not gonna be hard.
I'll be waiting for a definitive version and make it longer. Maybe add a bridge, solo, another chorus, something else. 3:00-3:30 would be fine.
