A backing track from a guitar contest (I am not participating, though) was sent and friend asked to fire few ideas on it. So here we are - fully improvised.
As I find lately it seems that the destiny tries to put the electric back in my hands

So I assume this is you playing lead guitar or is this all you, I'm confused?
I like the tone on the lead guitar, but it's too busy for my taste, it needs air to breath.

With some work you can enter into the contest

It's me on the lead guitar only and you're right - pauses are mighty artistic weapon in the music and I have never been too good in using it.
I wouldn't go for the contest, not my cup of tea, but enjoyed the backing track too much to pass it

Nice guitar playing, mate. I'm not really a big fan of jam-songs with lots of noodling, but I do respect the talent it takes.
