Hi folks! as I've said before, I excuse myself for being so inactive on the site but.. well the inspiration comes and goes.

So this is another love song, which describes exactly how I feel right now,
about a certain person. Hope you'll like it...

I love this ... the many voices of the story teller, I hear Leonard Cohen, David Bowie, Robbie Robertson  and more ... wonderful.
Love the lyrics too, obscure enough to make all the sense in the world.

I'm not saying I like the direct differences in the vocal parts though they do also make sense.

That song is a good composed ballad. I like the mood and the lyrics.
But about the mix : It sound slighly "scratchy" to me, too loud, somehow overcompressed, dunno what it is.
Needs rework (remix) , imo.

Yeah...It's got eighties Bowie feel to it...nice work.
This mix is Ok to me, perhaps cut the upper mids and. or the lower mids, may make it sound a bit smoother.

Hmm ULI I can't really see what you mean here,
to me it sounds OK too. One thing though, is that the song
turned out to be so low sounding (volume), so I guess
I tried to level up everything as much as I could, without
the vocals sounding too awful(!) maybe that's the case.

Thanks again, but I think I'm putting this aside for a while now.

I listened now again and noticed again that vox and some synthsounds (both ranging in mid freqs) come distorted out of my speakers.


Perhaps is this the reason.
