This song is not in a battle

Another Collaboration with Colin Jones who wrote the lyrics and provided the intro & outro samples.
Not sure what genre this comes under....humor perhaps??

It’s Just TV – Lyrics by Colin Jones

I don’t care for gypsy weddings,
Or The apprentice to the Board,
I don’t want to see big houses,
With price tags I can't afford.

I don’t want to cook those dishes,
Or eat live beetles for a bet,
Or watch celebs changed into something,
That very soon we’ll all forget.

It’s just TV, it’s just TV,
It doesn’t care for you and me,
It’s just TV, its just TV,
And what they show is what you see.
Its just TV, Its just TV

I don’t care for ads disturbing,
Those very tense and hard nosed scenes,
Of dramas penned by people,
Who now we wish that we had been.

This land is full of upturned saucers,
And dishes pointing to the sky,
They glue us all onto our sofas
And watch us fade away to die.

It’s just TV, it’s just TV,
It doesn’t care for you and me,
It’s just TV, its just TV,
And what they show is what you see.
Its just TV, Its just TV

I don't watch TV ... at all... for all of those reasons and some more...

Nice song, surely, although it feels like the arrangement is missing something: there is room for more (where more makes more and not less is more) maybe because it invokes a big-band-ish feel to it, but it isn't big band. So now, I was hearing a lot of drums, vox and a very nicely done sax part, but it doesn't have as much "body" as my ears expect.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the tune!

I agree with the body, there are many gaps I can fill, wasn't to sure of what to include other than yeah a big band
I'll give it a try see how it sounds.
Cheers
