Always There V2
*

This song is not in a battle

This is the final cut - Added Vox and Sax
Music & production - Denis
Lyrics - Colin Jones

Always There

She won't say what she’s thinking,
Except, maybe, when she’s drinking.
At other times the words remain,
She won't say what she’s thinking,
Except, maybe, when she’s drinking
To seek them is to search in vain.

[CHORUS] Just because she doesn't say,
That she loves you every day day day,
It don't mean she don't care,
She's making sure you're always there.
Always...there!

She won’t tell you what she's feeling,
Or just how much you’re appealing,
Even when you hold her close,
She won’t tell you what she's feeling,
Or just how much you’re appealing,
That's when you fail to hear the most.

Grinning from ear to ear. I listened to V1 and then I came to listen to your newly uploaded V2 and man...excellent job. I immediately thought I heard a difference in the mix, especially with the bass...man I'm lovin' that tone. This song is so insanely complete with the added lyrics. I also love the way you sing it...I agree with what someone else said about it being a cross between ELO and the stones lol.
The guitar solo complimented with the organ was sweet and then BAM sax comes in and slaps you in the face and is like 'oh heck yes this is happening.' That was awesome.
Great job man. Good ol rock n roll

Tonight on "John Peel´s Music" here on BFBS the one and only (indeed) ......!!!!..........!!!!!...........!!!!
The "Electric Stones Orchestraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

Upbeat R&R, as I wrote before.

But there´s an irritating part (´19 - ´30 min) when you´re starting to sing. Can´t figure out exactly what it is.
Sounds like the vox is stumbling shortly and then I thought I´ve heard something like layered voices.
Perhaps you´ve forgotten to mute one vox track?? I don´t know. Perhaps I`m just kidding ?

Denis I TOTALLY love this!!  As Swordy mentioned, this TOTALLY reminds me of Townsend's solo stuff, especially Empty Glass or Cat's in the Cupboard.

Love the vocals, but I think that they could be made even more agressive sounding!

Love it

Cheers everyone for the comments.

I want to try and get my cousin to sing this who is a Rock & Roll full time singer, hopefully he will find the time.
We used to play the local pub circuites back in the early 80's.

He was the lead singer, I used to sing a few ballads, I'm a big softy, it's hard for me to sound aggresive.

You don't need to spend fortunes to get a decent sound, most of it is mixing/recording practice & experimenting.
PM me you full set-up, PC, gear plug ins etc. Or better still upload your music hear on the AMP and see how we can all help you improve production.
