Voll geil.     What a juicy piece of meat. Which git-effect is this ? A pitch or git synth ? Something else ?
Great soloing exercises sounding like a keyboard. Honestly NOT lame .
The rhythm & bassplay reminds me totally to some old "Level 42" stuff. ..................playlisted.........
Great performance, man

It's funny I was thinking about the old funk tunes today, it's amazing on how with just one wicked Bass line you can make the song entertaining, just like you have here, with a few Marino twists here and there you've made it your own.
Really... perhaps introduce  percussion and some effect here and there, a groovy melody line  then you'll have another Marino Classic to add to your great collection -

Amazing as usual.
So this is just an exercise piece !

If you decide to create a song from it get some vocals. A sample would suffice.
You do some wicked editing in FL so you should be able to edit a vocal in some slick and funky Marino way !

ooooo...love that funk!  My ears just yearn to hear you play it on your guitar, tho -- synth - blah -- that's just me.  Love the feel starting at 1:28 -- love those "bent blue" notes soooo much!  Yeah, I'm dancin', uh-huh, oh yeah -- who could hold still to this!  Then the birdy chirps and cool jags start at 3:17 -- feel like I'm getting a "hay-ya massage -- oh yeah!  I feel much better!  Love it!
