I like the quality of the recording. I'm sort of a sound geek-very into the way sound changes with different equipment, different computer programs, better cables and all that minutae.

I didn't care for the drum machine, but I know it's not easy to get the feel to sound more human, so don't take that as an insult. My tune actually changes time by 1 bpm between the verses and the chorus, and I didn't even know it until my drummer friend told me. See, I didn't like the original drum machine track (before this upload) when I know a great drummer, but at the time we started recording, we weren't talking...

As for the concept of being in-key, if what you were going for was a musical chance to color outside the lines, then who cares? It helps if you're kinda stoned to listen to that kind of thing.

I listened to it all the way through, and even flipped through your reviews, so that means I was interested in the song enough. Michelle
